I think Robert Mitchum co-wrote the Thunder Road song.The movie was supposed to be a true story that happened about an hour from where I live.Great song and movie.
"Deke", approx. where do you live amigo?? BTW, after seeing this movie, I drove my 54 Ford (Straight Pipe's) like a maniac for a spell!!
